Thousands of people, who came from different parts of the country for living, have become desperate to leave Narayanganj in a bid to avoid contracting coronavirus as the district turns into an epicenter of the virus. People are seen taking waterway to leave the district.
Recently, two people died from coronavirus though they developed no symptoms. One of them was Sanwar Hossain, the driver of Narayanganj Police Super, while the other was a woman, who was detected in Rajshahi two day after he arrived there.
Khanpur 300 Bed Hospital already been started to provide treatment to coronavirus infected patients. However, the facilities are not sufficient.
Nearly twenty five physicians, nurses, health workers and police underwent treatment after getting infected by the virus. According to district health administration, 261 people have been infected, and 19 died from coronavirus as of Friday.
