Weekend mornings are meant for sleeping in and if you find yourself craving something warm and tasty when you finally wake up, brunches are a great option. You could treat yourself out for a brunch at numerous restaurants and cafes in Dhaka – a number of places offer brunch menus ranging from pancakes, crepes and waffles to deshi beef bhuna, paratha and malai chaa.
The White Canary Café’s brunch options will surely envelop your senses. They serve a wide range of signature coffees and all-day brunch dishes.
So during my visit, I ordered Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes (BDT 425). The 2 layered pancakes were served with special cream cheese and blueberry sauce. It was delicious and super filling. I added extra ice-cream (BDT 150), blueberry sauce (BDT 150) and cream cheese (BDT 100).
The cakes are sweet, light and fluffy. The layers look beautiful. It was covered by blueberry sauce and served with a dollop of cream cheese on the top. They are fried to crispy perfection on the outside. The pancakes are packed with fresh blueberries and topped with gorgeous purple blueberry syrup which tastes like an explosion of intense blueberry flavor. The golden brown goodness bursting with blueberries are the best item I’ve tried from The White Canary Café menu.
Surely it’s not cheap, but the taste and quality is great. Recommended!
