On the third day of Eid-ul-Azha Tuesday, crowds of tourists at Kuakata beach were increasing.

Tourists were seen walking to various points starting from Kuakata Zero Point. However, many of the tourists were dissatisfied with the quality and price of food. Due to luxury coaches, passengers have been able to travel in comfort.

For the past two days, the whole beach has been full of local people and tourists. The presence of tourists on the first and second days of this year's Eid did not reflect the expectations of the tourism-dependent traders.

For the first time since the Padma Bridge was inaugurated, tourists from all over the country are coming to Kuakata to enjoy the long Eid-ul-Azha holiday. A huge crowd of tourists on the third day of this Eid came to Kuakata without facing the hassle of using a ferry on the way. Tourists are getting luxury coaches for travel. Multiple tourist spots in Kuakata are becoming more and more popular among tourists.

Visiting multiple tourist spots and hotels, it was seen that the administration, law enforcement and municipal authorities are ready to provide round-the-clock security and services to the tourists. This time the relief in the traffic system among the tourists could be seen clearly.

Travelers visiting Kuakata are enjoying the breathtaking views of nature with family and loved ones as well as sitting on the beach under umbrellas and watching the waves. Tourists are immersing themselves in the rhythm of the waves. Some people are capturing such moments again. Kuakata's tourism-dependent traders are starting to reap the benefits of the Padma Bridge.

Local traders upon being asked said that business has been booming due to the huge influx of tourists. As Kuakata has now become easier to visit, the number of tourists will increase day by day, they hoped. However, the quality and price of food was not satisfactory to some tourists.

Muhibullah Muhib (32) from Dhaka said, “I am coming to Kuakata in just 5 hours which was unimaginable to me. I will come closer to the sea if I feel bad. It looks great, but the beach is not very clean. More tourists will come if it is beautiful.

Al Amin Khan Ujjal, assistant general manager of Kuakata’s elite hotel Sikder Resort & Villas, said they have made all preparations to welcome the tourists. Washed and prepared with cleaning. He added that most of their villas and resorts have already been booked in advance. Many tourists are still contacting us for accommodations.

Motaleb Sharif, general secretary of the Kuakata Hotel Motel Owners Association, said that although it is not the tourist season now, 80 percent of hotels, motels and resorts have already been booked in advance.

Abul Kalam Azad, Additional Superintendent of Police, Kuakata Region, said that the district police was working alongside the tourist police to ensure the service and safety of the tourists. Tourists will be able to travel to Kuakata safely and comfortably. He added that the fire service team is at Kuakata beach to deal with any untoward incident.
