The newly appointed Superintendent of Police (SP) of Pabna Mortoja Ali Khan held a view-exchange meeting with the political leaders and people of all walks of life at Sujanagar in Pabna on Saturday.
The meeting was held at the Thana conference hall room.
The SP was present at the view-exchange meeting as the chief guest. He sought everyone’s help to curb extortion and crime.
Pabna Assistant Superintendent of Police (Sujanagar Circle) Robiul Islam, Sujanagar Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jalal Uddin, Former president of Upazila unit BNP, Upazila Jamaat Ameer Professor KM Hesab Uddin, Member Secretary of Upazila BNP Shekh Abdur Rouf, Convener of municipality BNP Kamal Hossain, Upazila Krishak Dal president Shahjahan Ali Shekh, journalist MA Alim Ripon, Upazila Puja Udjapan Parishad president Sree Subodh Kumar Noto, coordinators of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Ashikur Rahman, Manik and others were present at the meeting.
The speakers urged the police to
take stern legal action against crime, extortion and illegal activities in Sujanagar.
