The traffic police in Jhenidah have been showing performance to ease the road communications avoiding bad noises on highway and other roads in the district. They have been conducted drives to seize the illegal and bad noisy making hydraulic horns from transports.
As a part of the programme, the law enforcing agency men came to street to seize the horns. The drive continued till Sunday afternoon, started in the morning.
Traffic inspector in Jhenidah Mohammad Salah Uddin said as directed by the superintendent of police Mohammad Hasanuzzaman, they have been trying to make the highway and other roads congestion and bad-noise free to ensure comfort journey for the people.
They seized over 200 various type of hydraulic horns from bus, truck, pick up van, microbus and other vehicles. The traffic vehicles drivers assured the police that they would not use this sort of hazardous horns at their vehicles in near or far future.
Superintendent of police in Jhenidah Mohammad Hasanuzzaman when contacted, said he had ordered the police men to execute the order of the honourable High Court setting up check pots at places.
