More than 150 students from various schools across the country were honored at the completion of the Thirteenth Inter-school Bangla Olympiad 2024. The event, held at the International Hope School premises in Uttara, Dhaka, saw enthusiastic participation from 1628 students representing 105 schools. Organized by International Hope School Bangladesh, the Olympiad featured contests in categories like Essay Writing, Recitation, Dance, Singing, Drawing, Quiz, and Speech.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Hakeem Arif, Director General of the International Mother Language Institute, graced the occasion alongside Mr. Abdil Aziz Jaldoshov, Chairman of International Hope School Bangladesh, and Principal Roksana Zarin. Distinguished reciter Shimul Mustafa hosted the program.
The event also featured cultural performances by winners. Speaking about the significance of the Olympiad, Dr. Hakeem Arif emphasized its role in promoting Bengali language and culture. Principal Roksana Zarin expressed pride in organizing the event annually, noting its growing recognition nationally and internationally.
The competition was judged by eminent poets, literary figures, and educators, including Ekushey medalist reciters Shimul Mustafa and Rupa Chakraborty.
