A daylong orientation programme on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) management in the health center to prevent Covid-19 was held on Sunday in the conference room of Keshabpur Upazila in Jashore.
The programme was held in collaboration with Ward under the implementation of Amerikars.
Ward Executive Director Syed Akmal Ali presided over the function conducted by Amerikars’ Programme Officer Ashikur Rahman Ashar while, Keshabpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer MM Arafat Hossain spoke as the chief guest. Keshabpur Press Club President SR Saeed, Upazila Family Planning Officer Pradeep Biswas, Dr Pradeepta Chowdhury, Dr Siam and Assistant Health Inspector Aminul Islam spoke as special guests. In collaboration with Ward with the implementation of Amerikars, in addition to Jessore General Hospital, Keshabpur Upazila Health Complex, WASH project has already been launched in 7 community clinics in the upazila.
