‘Dhaka Attack’ famed director Dipankar Dipon directed much-awaited film titled ‘Operation Sundarbans’ to release on September 30.
Although, the film was supposed to release on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Azha. However, at the last moment the distribution company Shapla Media decided not to release it.
The film is based on the life of the people living in, around Sundarbans (the largest mangrove forest in the world) and the everyday struggles of them, how they deal with the situation and how the land can be protected from the robbers. It will also focus the success story of the operation by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) forces to make the Sundarbans pirate-free.
The film is produced by the RAB welfare Co-operative Society Limited and produced by Three Wheelers Limited with the help of local and foreign crews and latest technology and VFX.
Dipankar Dipon first film ‘Dhaka Attack’ was a huge success, he is hoping this film will also be a huge success like the first. Regarding the context director said, "We want to make sure that we are able to entertain the audience by showcasing the effective measures taken by the government and the Rapid Action Battalion RAB to protect the Sundarbans from the hands of robbers."
It is a multi-star-studded film starring National Award winner actor Siam Ahmed and popular actress Nusraat Faria as the lead protagonists of the film, while Taskeen Rahman will be seen in an important role. Apart from them it will also feature Riaz Ahmed, Ziaul Roshan, Manoj Pramanik, Fahmida Sabina, Dipu Imam, Ehsanur Rahman and Kolkata's popular actress Darshana Banik among others.
