The online application process for Dhaka University (DU) undergraduate (Honours first year) admission for the 2022-23 academic session began on Monday.
Applicants can apply for the admission test from February 27 to March 20.
Prof Abdul Matin Chowdhury of the university on Monday officially inaugurated this online admission program in the virtual classroom at the administrative building.
Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, the Vice-Chancellor of the university was present as the chief guest.
The deadline for submitting the application fee has been set till March 20.
As per the procedure, students can pay fees online through debit or credit cards, mobile or internet banking, and through four state-owned banks (Sonali, Agrani, Janata, and Rupali banks).
Applicants can download the admit card from April 18 until 1 hour before the examination of the respective unit.
The examination will be held in total in four units, namely the Science Unit, Arts, Law and Social Science Unit, Business Studies Unit, and Fine Arts Unit.
There are a total of 5,965 seats available for students, including 130 in the Arts.
Among them 1,851 seats in science, 2,934 seats in Arts, Law and Social Sciences, and 1,050 seats in Business Studies and 130 seats for Fine Arts.
