The online application process for the Dhaka University admission test under the academic session of 2020-21 will begin from 4pm of March 8 and will continue till 12am of March 31.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Admission Test Committee on Thursday, said a notice signed by DU public relation officer Mahmood Alam.
The notice said, 2020-21 session’s admission test will be started on May 21 (Friday) with the exam of the 'Ka' unit. Gradually 'Kha' unit's entry test will be held on May 22 (Saturday), 'Ga' unit's on May 27 (Thursday), 'Gha' unit's on May 28 (Friday) and 'Cha' unit's on June 5 (Saturday).
The entry test will begin at 11:00 am and will end at 12:30 pm (90 minutes). The tests will be held in eight divisional cities to ensure safety and minimize the financial cost of admission seekers amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
GPA 3.5 for ‘Ka’ and ‘Ga’ Unit and GPA 3 for ‘Kha’ and ‘Gha’ unit respectively in Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School certificate results have fixed as a base qualification for application.
Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Muhammad Samad, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Maksud Kamal, Treasurer Professor Mumtaz Uddin Ahmed, Convenor of the online admission committee Professor Md Mustafizur Rahman, Deans of respective faculties were present at the meeting.
