Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 2,100 litres of local-made cholai wine and 500 grams of hemp from Gomostapur upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Friday morning.
The arrested was Shree Mona Das, 24, of Muktasa Hallpara village under Gomostapur upazila.

RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of the RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in a cattle house under Muktasa Hallpara around 7.30 am and nabbed the arrested drug peddler with the contraband drugs.
Seven litres of the seized wine was sent to the court for chemical test and judicial procedure and the rest was destroyed, the sources added.
