All the Government, non-government and autonomous bodies, banks and educational institutions have started hanging the dropdown banner at their respective offices marking month of mourning in August.
The decision came from in a meeting of the national committee for observation of the birth centenary of the father of the nation Bangaldandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the office of the international mother language institute at Segunbagicha in Dhaka on July 18 last.
The sources said each and every offices will hang the dropdown banners following the tragic death of the father of the nation Bangaldandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members and show respect to them brutally killed by the vested quarters on August 15 of 1975.
The authorities will hang the banners at a suitable visible place with specific design where the pictures of Bangbandhu and other martyrs will be displayed only. The birth centennial and government of the peoples republic of Bangladesh logo will be printed on the banner where the organizing office will mention their names.
The office were encouraged to use any similar quoting or lines which will enrich the banner, the sources said.
