The government has directed all educational institutions to implement 'Say No to Drugs' programme with students.
It has been directed to observe this programme before the beginning of academic activities every day. For the time being, those who have class for the day will observe this program before the start of class.
This program will be observed in all the educational institutions from January next year by fixing the date and time. At the request of the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC), the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has directed all educational institutions to take steps to begin this program.

Regarding this, an order published on DSHE's website on Tuesday informed the heads of all institutions and education officials at the field level.
Earlier on November 7, a letter was sent from DNC requesting the Director General of DSHE to take up the program.
The letter said the 4th meeting of the committee on 'Anti-Drug Awareness and Social Movement' was held on October 10 under the chairmanship of the Secretary of DSHE under the Ministry of Education.
It was decided at the meeting, the programme should be observed before the beginning of academic activities in the classrooms for the awareness among the school and college goers.
The main target of drug traffickers is the young generation. As a result, the youngsters of the country is being misled by the terrible effects of drugs. This is terrible for the future of a country.
