Bangladeshi young director Nuhash Humayun has joined the Writers Guild of America West. Nuhash, the son of late writer Humayun Ahmed, shared his excitement after becoming a member of this prestigious guild.

"I worked on several Hollywood projects and then applied for membership. I received the news on Thursday that I have been offered membership," Nuhash told Glitz. When asked about his Hollywood work, he said the projects are yet to be announced, so he cannot share details now. "It's a different feeling," Nuhash added about joining the Writers Guild of America. "I feel great. Our content is also gaining importance in the U.S., which is very pleasing. I want to work equally in both places."

Currently, Nuhash is working on the second season of his popular series 'Pet Kata Sh'. "The shooting is over, and editing is underway. This season has surprises for the audience," he said. He mentioned that his mother, Gultekin Khan, wrote three of the four stories for this season, making it her first time writing for the series. Nuhash is very optimistic about the upcoming season but remained tight-lipped about the actors involved.

Last year, Nuhash’s series 'Foreigners Only' was released on the American OTT platform Hulu. He has previously worked on other OTT series like 'Petkata Sh', 'Mashari', and 'Asthir Saam Swastir'. He also produced films like 'Iti Tomarei Dhaka' and 'Moving Bangladesh'. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the second season of 'Pet Kata Sh', which promises to bring more thrilling stories to the audience.

Nuhash’s entry into the Writers Guild of America West marks a significant achievement in his career, as he continues to make a mark in both Bangladesh and Hollywood.
