The National University has unveiled the much-awaited first merit list for admission to the Bachelor (Honours) class for the academic year 2023-24. The announcement, made on Monday, March 18, at 4 pm, marks a crucial milestone for prospective undergraduates across the country.
Students eager to check their results can do so via the National University's admission website starting from 9 pm. Additionally, candidates can receive their results conveniently through SMS by sending "nu<space>athn<space>roll no" to 16222.
With this release comes a set of instructions tailored to ensure a smooth admission process. Notably, students who find themselves on the first merit list and had been admitted to any institution during the preceding academic year (2022-23) must cancel their previous admission by March 27. Failure to comply with this directive will result in the cancellation of admission for the current academic year due to dual enrollment.
Furthermore, students listed in the first merit roster have the option to change their chosen subject. To do so, they must indicate their preference for subject change in the final admission form. Subject changes will be facilitated based on merit and subject-wise vacant seats in the respective colleges.
The commencement of classes for newly admitted students is slated for April 21, providing ample time for preparations and arrangements.
This announcement ushers in a pivotal phase for countless aspiring undergraduates, setting the stage for their academic journey at the National University. As students eagerly await their results and prepare for the next steps, the university remains committed to facilitating a seamless and efficient admission process for all.
