The National University has announced the results for its on-campus Bachelor (Honours) program for the academic year 2023-2024. A total of 192 students have been selected for admission under a special quota in the second batch.
The first merit list and waiting list were published on the university's website on Thursday morning, August 15. Students can check their results by visiting the university's admission website. The available Honors courses include LLB, BBA, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Nutrition and Food Science.
The university has stated that the dates for interviews and the start of classes for the selected students will be announced later through an official notification.
The application process for the on-campus honors program began on February 6 and continued until April 3. However, after the application period ended, the Ministry of Education initially ordered a halt to the program on the National University's campus due to concerns raised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Following a thorough review and consideration of the academic impact on 160 students, the UGC lifted the ban and issued a no-objection letter, allowing the program to continue. As a result, there are no longer any legal obstacles to the on-campus Bachelor (Honours) program at the National University.
Students who have been selected are advised to stay updated by following the university's notifications for further details on their interviews and the start of their academic activities.
