The National University (NU) has announced the second phase of applications for the first year of Bachelor (Honours) for the academic year 2023-2024. This opportunity is for students who missed the first phase or whose initial applications were not confirmed by their colleges. The application window is open from July 7 to July 15.
Dr. Md. Nasir Uddin, Dean of the National University, made this announcement in an official circular.Interested students need to fill out the application form on the National University's admission website. The application fee is Tk 350, which can be paid through mobile banking or directly to the college by July 16.
Students who applied in the first phase do not need to apply again. No direct merit list will be provided for second-phase applicants. Instead, these students must apply to five colleges, indicating their subject preferences, to be considered for a merit list.
The initial admission circular for the 2023-2024 academic year was published on January 21, and the first phase of applications ran from January 22 to February 11. Since the 2015-16 academic year, student admissions for affiliated colleges have been based on SSC and HSC results instead of entrance exams This second phase provides another chance for students to secure a place in their desired programs.
