Vice Chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) Professor Dr Didar-ul-Alam and NSTU Teachers Association paid tribute on Bangabandhu's Mausoleum at Tungipara on 26 August.
After paying tribute, everyone stood next to the grave of the father of the nation and observed a minute of silence.Then they prayed for the father of the nation and the martyrs on August 15, 1975. Later NSTU VC signed the memorial book.
Among others,NSTU Pro VC Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdul Baki, President of NSTU Teachers Association Professor Dr.Newaz Mohammad Bahadur, General secretary of NSTU Teachers Association Professor Dr. Firoz Ahmed, Leaders of NSTU Teachers Association,NSTU Registrar (additional Responsibility) Jashim Uddin,Deans of different faculties, Directors of Institutes, Hall Provosts were present. Later,NSTU teachers blue planel also paid tribute to the Father of the Nation.
NSTU VC Professor Dr. Md. Didar-ul-Alam said, "In this month of mourning, I pay my deepest respect to the greatest Bengali of a thousand years, the great architect of independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and I pray for the forgiveness of the souls of all those who were martyred on August 15. Jai Bangla-Jai Bangabandhu".
