The Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (ACCE) at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) has started online education according to the decision of the university authorities and the department has taken initiative to provide internet facility to the students for online class by giving financial support to the financially unstable students to buy internet packages so that they can attend the online class.
For this initiative of the department, the attendance rate of students in online classes has increased. Teachers and students are satisfied for this initiative of the department and hope that such initiative will be taken in other departments.
Students said, "This initiative of our department is really admirable. Many of us could not attend online classes properly due to internet problems, but our department has sincerely solved the problem. As a result, online class attendance rates have increased significantly."
On this point , Chairman of the Department of ACCE, Prof. Dr. Newaz Mohammed Bahadur said," To keep pace with the current situation of corona pandemic, there is no alternative without taking online classes. We don't want our students face problem to attend online classes due to data problems. So we have taken this initiative to help the students to attend online class."
