The Ministry of Science and Technology invites applications for the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship for the financial year 2024-25. Students and researchers enrolled in MS/MSc, MPhil, and PhD courses in Public Universities or recognized institutions in Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Biology, Medical Sciences, Food, and Agricultural Sciences are eligible to apply.
To apply, first register on the Integrated Digital Service Delivery Platform (IDSDP) via this link. Complete the online application form, attaching a recent photograph, educational certificates, and a scanned copy of the national identity card. Only full-time students can apply, and applicants can submit only one application in any group. MS/MSc applicants must have a minimum GPA of 4.5 in SSC and HSC, and 3.4 in graduation, with age below 30 years. MPhil and PhD applicants must have a minimum GPA of 4.5 in SSC and HSC, 3.2 in graduation and post-graduation, with age below 35 years for MPhil and below 45 years for PhD.
Additionally, applicants must submit an undertaking on a non-judicial stamp of Tk.300 declaring no other fellowship/grant is being received. For those called for an interview, the following documents are required: original certificates, print copy of the application, original undertaking, research synopsis or progress report, admission confirmation letter, and proof of leave for employees.
The application deadline is June 30 at 12:00 PM. The Ministry will publish the list of received applications and notify shortlisted candidates for interviews on their website.
