NSC expresses concern over prevailing situation

Organisers of Nirapad Sarok Chai (NSC), Rajshahi, have expressed their concern at not maintaining of social distance and the minimum health and hygeinic rules at the markets and trading centres during the Coronavirus pandemic in Rajshahi. 

A joint statement of NSC signed by its President Advocate Toufique Ahmed Titu, Vice-President Waliur Rahman Babu, General Secretary Sultan Mahmud Sumon and Assistant Secretary Masuduzzaman Kajol expressed deep concern at the prevailing situation of all business establishments of the city and neighbouring areas and said even after repeated requests, no one seem to maintain social distance and minimum health and hygeinic rules during shopping which is extremely risky for spread of Coronavirus. 

Advocate Toufique Ahmed Titu, President of NSC, Rajshahi said, it is being noticed that customers alongwith their children were crowding to various shops and markets by completely violating the health rules which would help spread Coronavirus in Rajshahi city and  surroundig areas in a fatal form. 

Under such situation, NSC under the banner of ' Life is greater than Festivity' was requesting the local administration and the concerned authorities to take immediate step to control the prevailing situation of markets of the city and the district. 

He said, we have been traversing through various risks in every moment and for any erroneous step of keep open the shops and markets, we may fall in such a fatal situation from which we would not be able to rescue. As a result, he was requesting all, irrespective of party affiliations, to face Coronavirus pandemic unitedly.
