National Pension Authority (NPA) has signed a MoU with Janata Bank PLC to provide services as the front office of NPA in its branches and to facilitate the subscription of pension scheme. Executive Chairman of National Pension Authority Kabirul Izdani Khan and Managing Director of Janata Bank Md. Abdul Jabbar signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations in the presence of The chief guest, Finance Secretary, Md. Khairuzzaman Majumdar.
Finance Department, National Pension Authority and senior executives of various banks were present at that time.
Pension scheme registrants can deposit the subscription fee at the counter of all branches of Janata Bank. Branch Managers will also assist bank customers to register for Universal Pension Scheme.
Customers can also register for pension schemes using Janata Bank's apps e-Janta and make online payments.
