Bangladeshi music fans in Toronto are gearing up for a memorable night as some of their favorite artists gather for "Nostalgia Unplugged." Scheduled for December 1 at the People's Theatre for the Performing Arts in Markham, this concert will bring together legends Babna Karim from Warfaze and Chandan Zaman Ali from Winning for a special unplugged performance.
For the first time, Babna and Chandan will share the stage, blending their music and unique styles in an acoustic set.
Babna expressed his excitement in a video on Facebook, sharing that he and Chandan have long wanted to create an unplugged concert experience with their favorite songs.
"I've heard a lot about Toronto’s enthusiastic music crowd, so I’m thrilled to bring this event here," Babna said.
Joining them on stage will be the popular band Shunno, known for its energetic performances. Vocalist Emil shared that the band will be performing in an unplugged style for the first time in Toronto, adding a new and refreshing element to their music.
"No one has seen Shunno like this before," he hinted, promising fans an entirely new experience.
Razeeb Hasan Chowdhury, a fan favorite who recently performed with Anjan Dutt, will also join the lineup. Known for his versatility, Razeeb is expected to bring a blend of classic and contemporary tunes, adding to the nostalgic theme of the night.
The concert will open its gates at 5 pm, with the performance starting at 6 pm. Fans are eagerly awaiting what promises to be a heartwarming and unforgettable celebration of Bengali music.
