From 5th August, the traffic control system collapsed in Bangladesh, especially in the capital Dhaka. Traffic police were seen rarely for at least 1 week. SAU students took this responsibility voluntarily on their shoulders and performed this duty in various locations vicinity of this university.

Unfair prices of produce existed in the nearby market of SAU due to lack of monitoring. After the 5th August, students visited markets, talked to the shopkeepers, discussed with other relevant stakeholders, and tried to reduce price hikes and maintained stable prices.

They plotted quotes there that went viral and inspirational as well as painted biting images of the previous regime.

Flood Relief Activities:

angladesh has faced a massive flash flood in the Feni, Noakhali, and Comilla regions. Thousands of people have become homeless and were confined during that sudden flood. In that region, flood-affected people passed the time with no food, drinking water, clothes, or sanitation. Realizing the consequences, students of SAU collected funds to support the affected people with food, drinking water, and clothing. They went to the risky areas and provided relief goods to the people who needed the help most.

Rice Seedling Preparation:

Flood-affected regions faced huge losses in terms of agriculture. Aman Dhan was being cultivated in those regions and those were totally damaged due to the flood. To tackle this situation and to ensure food security, students have decided to distribute rice seedlings to the farmers of those regions. They have started this project as agricultural students and soon they will provide seedlings of BRRI Dhan 75, BRRI Dhan 23, and BINA Dhan 17. This innovative support has gained massive attention and applause from the people of Bangladesh.
