No trace found yet even after three days about the doctor who was picked up by a group of men posing as law enforcement agency members on Saturday night from Savar, on the outskirts of the capital.
Kazi Mainul Islam, Oc, Savar model police station said they received a GD in this regard, and police working to rescue the victim.
The abducted doctor named S.R Nazrul Islam, runs a private diagnostic center and medical institute named Nobo Diganta Diagnostic Center and B.T.F Medical Institute, located Bazar road area in Savar.
Kulsum Akhter, the victim’s wife alleged, some 7 to 8 people in civil dress posing as law enforcement agency picked her husband around 9 on Saturday night from his personal chamber, and since then he is missing.
On the other hand victims family members alleged, police did not pay attention over the issue, even a day after filing General Diary, the investigation officer said he was unaware even about the GD till Tuesday night.
“My husband picked up by a group of people but police still negligence the matter, at least I have the right to know where my husband is if he even picked up by any law enforcement agency”, Kulsum said.
However, refusing the allegation of negligence, Abdul Haq, SI and the investigation officer of the GD told Bangladesh Post that we require some times to obtain any GD or complaint filed with station as it’s usually sent to the box after Oc signed on it, and then we pick it up from the box that assigned to me to investigate.
However, we are trying our best to identify the abducted and hoped to rescue him soon, although we are not sure yet whether he picked up by any law enforcement agency.
