Even after 40 long years, Dinajpur Fulbari Upazila Zila Parishad rest house are standing still without any road. This government-built rest house looks like an antiquity. Surprisingly, even after 40 long years, no roads for transportation have been provided.
Pedestrians have go on foot to enter the rest house. No car parking facilities are provided for the tourists and others.
Even a three wheeler cannot go to the rest house. Locals of the area are wandering when there will be a road that connect the rest house. Although Phulbari is a historical upazila, no foreign visitor wants to come to this rest huse due to the lack of communication facility.
Because there is no transportation system here.
It is learned that this rest house was built in 1981 in Dinajpur Fulbari Upazila with the funding of Dinajpur Zila Parishad. Later on 23rd June 2013, another building was constructed.
Although 40 years have passed, no road has been constructed in the rest house of the district council. As a result, the government is losing revenue from Fulbari District Council government bungalow.
Md Raihan Hossain, caretaker of Dakbanglo of Fulbari district council, said that no government official could come and spend the night here as there in no road for the past 40 years.
As a result, the government is being deprived of revenue.
The construction of the road will increase the government revenue on the one hand, on the other hand, government officials will be able to travel there easily with vehicles. The locals of Phulbari have sought the direct intervention of the Prime Minister.
