No patient infected with Covid-19 has so far been detected in Rajshahi. Till 12:00 pm on Wednesday, a total of 448 persons including 40-foreign returnees have been put under home quarantine in the district.
According to Dr. Enamul Haque, Civil Surgeon, Rajshahi, 20 foreign returnees are in Home quarantine in Boalia Police station, six in Mohanpur upazila, five in Bagha upazila, four in Durgapur upazila, three in Godagari upazila and two in Bagmara upazila. Not only the foreign returnees but also people who are returning from Dhaka are also being kept under Home Quarantine for 14-day.
Civil Surgeon further informed, so far 1,037 people have been kpet under Home Quarantine in the district of whom 598 people have been released after 14-days.
