At least nine houses were gutted in a fire that broke out at Bilkeda village in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna district on Saturday midnight.
Ziaul Islam Zia, chairman of Lokkhikunda union parishad, said that the fire broke out at 10-12 houses at Bilkeda village in the union around midnight on Saturday. The fire also engulfed television, fridge, motorcycle and cash money.On information, a fire service unit rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
Ajibul Pramanik, a UP member of the lokkhikunda union said my brother’s house gutted in the fire.
“Fire engulfed everything of us. Nothing else remains,” he added.
Around 12 Lakh of cash money burned in the fire, he claimed.
Ruppur green city modern fire service unit inspector Meherul Islam said, we were informed at around 2:00am of Sunday and immediately rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
