The newly appointed senior district and session judge of Gopalganj Dr. Md. Atwar Rahman paid tribute to the mausoleum of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman at Tungipara Upazila in Gopalganj on Sunday.
Md. Atwar Rahman reached Tungipara on Sunday afternoon and paid tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreathes at the altar of his mausoleum.
Gopalganj Chief Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Shahadat Hossain Bhuiyan, Additional District and Sessions Judge Maksudur Rahman, Joint District and Sessions Judge of 1st Court Md. Sayedur Rahman, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Md. Firoj Mamun, Joint District and Sessions Judge of 2nd Court Md. Anayet Ullah , Land Survey Tribunal Judge Md. Mizanur Rahman, Senior Assistant Judge of Gopalganj Sadar Md. Mehdi Hasan, District Legal Aid Officer and Assistant Judge Md. Safiqul Islam, Senior Judicial Magistrate Reazaul Karim Bandhan, Senior Judicial Magistrate Md. Rubel Sheikh, Judicial Magistrate Fahmida Piya, Assistant Judge Afroza Binthe Shahid, Judicial Magistrate Abir Hossain, Tungipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Moinul Haque, Officer In-Charge Khandaker Aminur Rahman and other officials and employees of the district Judiciary was present at that time.They offered fateha and darood sharif at his grave and prayed for the departed soul of Bangabandhu and all the martyred member of his family who were killed in ’75 and August 15. They also prayed for the good health and long life of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Later, the newly appointed senior district and session judge of Gopalganj. Md. Atwar Rahman wrote comments in the inspection book preserved in Bangabandhu Bhaban and signed it.
