New Zealand cricket team arrived in Dhaka on Saturday night for the upcoming three-match ODI series, starting on September 21.
New Zealand will face Bangladesh in a three-match ODI series on September 21, 23 and 26 before the World Cup. All three matches of the series will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Meanwhile, New Zealand Cricket Board have sent a team dropping some key players including Kane Williamson, Tom Latham, Tim Southee, Mark Chapman, Mitchel Santner, Glane Philips James Neesham out of the squad keeping in mind the World Cup. However, Trent Boult who returned after a long time has been included in the team.
Fast bowler Lockie Ferguson will lead the 15-member team for the first time. All-rounder Dean Foxcroft is the new face of the team.The host Bangladesh and New Zealand will play the first ODI on September 21. The second and third matches will be played on September 23 and 26.
