A new Puja Udjapon Committee was formed at Shakharidaha village in Harinakundu upazila of Jhenaidah with 26 members to ensure the proper celebration of Durga puja 2024.
Gautam Kumar Karmaker and Sukanta Debnath were elected as the president and general secretary of the committee respectively. The committee was formed in a meeting at the puja mandap premises with Gautam Kumar Karmaker presiding over it. Bangladesh Puja Udjapon Parishad Harinakundu upazila unit general secretary Biswanath Sadhukhan conducted the election as the chief guest.
Asim Kumar Paul, Bijoy Debnath, Moham Kumar Paul, Badal Kumar Paul, Subash Kumar Roy, Rajkumar Paul, Nanda Paul and Sadhan Karmaker were elected as executive committee members.
