New Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate in Munshiganj Md. Abu Zafar Ripon exchanged views with journalists on Thursday in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner in the district
They informed the deputy commissioner about sand illegal dredgers, cement factories, encroachment of canals, encroachment of rivers, anchoring of lighters everywhere in rivers, establishment of universities in the district, sale of unlicensed octane, petrol, diesel, control of adulterated food products, control of drugs, eviction of illegal stands and stop extortion at stands.
Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Md. Abu Zafar Ripon BPAA said in his speech that Munshiganj is a region rich in history and tradition.
Munshiganj is also rich in culture. Construction of detection facilities at the entrance to the district will be given importance.
