Mirsharai Upazila Citizen Committee has been constituted. Professor Nurul Afchar and Enayat Hossain Nayan, Chairman of Kerhat Union Parishad of the upazila, have been elected as the chairman of this committee for a period of three years. Besides, Enayet Hossain Mithu, Mirsharai representative of Dainik Kaler Kanth, has been nominated as the chief coordinator.

Head of the subject committee, M Ala Uddin during the meeting said that initially a partial committee of 20 members has been announced. Besides, the newly elected leaders will form advisory councils, executive members and various sub-committees.
The newly elected chairman of Mirsharai Upazila Citizens Committee, Mirsrai College Principal Nurul Afchar said that a full committee will be formed within the next two days. The first task of this committee will be to organize the memorial meeting of late Mirsharai Upazila level journalistic beacon and publish a memorial book.
