Newly joined superintendent of police (SP) in Jhenaidah Azim Ul Ahsan had urged upon the journalists to extend their utmost cooperation to curb terrorism and make crime-prone Jhenaidah district a peaceful and livable place for the people of all walks of life. Azim Ul Ahsan was sharing with the working journalists at his conference room on Wednesday morning.
Facilitated by additional SP Anwar Sayeed, cyber-crime affairs additional SP Imran Zakaria and Additional SP of Jhenaidah Sadar circle Mir Abidur Rahman, DIO Atiqur Rahman, Jhenaidah Sadar police station officer in charge (OC) Sheikh Mohammad Sohel Rana and detective branch (DB) OC Shahin Uddin among others present. Jhenaidh press club president M Raihan, general secretary Mahmud Hasan Tipu, senior journalists Bimasl Saha, Delwar Kabir, Saiful Mabud and Nizam Joarder among the journalist spoke.
Police super in his speech said the journalist community have been playing role in nation building activities and working in join-hands with the police men with same objectives. The police boos desires to combat all sorts of anti-social activities and make the crime-prone district as a livable district free from drug, militancy, suicide and village rivalry.
As the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had made the country liberated from the clutch of the occupying Pakistani rulers in 1971 where 30 lakhs of heroic sons had lost their lives and two lakhs of our mothers and sisters had contributed a lost with their chastity, each and everybody should fight against all other odds to show respect to them.
