The application process for Class XI admission for the academic year 2024-25 is ongoing. Many students are facing issues, prompting the Ministry of Education to issue new instructions. Students who cancel their application will also have their payment canceled. After cancellation, they must pay the fee immediately when reapplying.

For students who took improvement tests, the results will be used in the smart admission system. They must inform the board of their preferences by June 8. If not, their latest exam results will be used. The application deadline is June 11. So far, over 10.97 lakh applications have been received, and payment has been completed for over 10.88 lakh applicants.

Applications are only accepted online, and manual applications are not allowed. Students must select between 5 and 10 colleges and pay a fee of Tk 150. Admission is based on merit, quota, and preference.

A total of 93% of seats are for merit-based admissions, with 5% reserved for children of heroic freedom fighters and 2% for children of Ministry of Education employees and associated agency officials.

Students who passed SSC or equivalent exams in the past three years are eligible to apply. Those from other years or foreign boards can apply manually. Students from different groups have specific group choices for admission.

The maximum admission fee is Tk 8,500 for English version non-MPO colleges in Dhaka, and Tk 7,500 for Bengali version non-MPO colleges in Dhaka. Fees are lower for colleges outside Dhaka and district-level institutions.
