New building of Hafizia Madrasa inaugurated in Bandarban

A new building of Hafezia Madrasa and Orphanage has been inaugurated in Bandarban with the funding of Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board. 

Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, MP, inaugurated the new building of Hafizia Madrasa and Orphanage on Friday (August 27th) morning as the chief guest at Bandarban Superintendent of Police’s office area. 

The minister also inaugurated a newly constructed madrasa building, built at a cost of Tk 32.5 lakh with funding from the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board. 

The Bandarban unit of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board, among others, said the executive engineer. Yasir Arafat, Project Director Abdul Aziz, former Sadar Upazila Chairman Abdul Quddus, Madrasa Principal Abdus Sobhan and others were present at the time.

Speaking at the inaugural function, the Hill Tracts Minister said that visible sustainable development was possible due to the sincerity of the present government towards the people of the hills. 

Besides, the government is working to improve the socio-economic condition of the people.
