The bodies of three more fishermen have been recovered in the case of trawler sinking in the Nazirertek Channel of the Bay of Bengal. They are Hossain Ahmad, Azizul Haque and Mohammad Abshar
Fishermen saw their bodies floating from the Maheshkhali channel around 10:30 am on Sunday. The relatives later recovered the two bodies with the help of the Coast Guard.
The house of the slain fisherman Hossain is in East Hamzar Dale and Azizul of the same union in Khurushkuler of Sadar Upazila, while the house of Abchar is in Hamzar Dale of the same union.
Zaker Hossain, the owner of the accident trawler, confirmed this to the media.
Local public representative Anwar Hossain said that the bodies of 5 fishermen have been recovered so far in the trawler sinking incident. Whose house is in Khorushkul. The trawler sank on its way back to Kule on Friday afternoon due to adverse weather conditions.
Earlier, a fishing trawler named FB Maer Doa sank on Nazirteck channel on Friday afternoon. The Coast Guard rescued 8 of the 19 prisoners in the trawler. Three more returned to Kule in another trawler.
The bodies of Taiyab and Saiful among the remaining 8 missing persons were recovered on Saturday. Then on Sunday morning, the bodies of these three people were recovered. Three more fishermen are still missing.
