Bangladesh Navy provided food and medical supplies in different areas of Manikganj affected by the flood situation across the country on the eve of holy Eid-ul-Adha.
Navy provided dry food and medical supplies to 1,000
flood-affected families in dire need of food, drink and medical supplies at Harirampur, Gala, Kanchanpur, Jhitka and Ramkrishnapur
upazilas in Manikganj on Friday, July 31.
Each of the families were provided with rice, pulses, oil, flattened rice, sugar, puffed rice, molasses, salt, candles, matches, saline, water purification tablets and pure water at the time.
All these food items and medical aid were provided in the
presence of the Ramkrishnapur Upazila Nirbahi Officer,
local chairman and public representatives.
Navy will continue such activities until the flood situation of the country improves.
