'National Public Service Day-2023' was observed in Narail district on Sunday in a befitting manner as elsewhere in the country.
Marking the day, a colorful rally was brought out from the deputy commissioner's office which paraded the important streets and ended at the same place on Sunday morning.
District Administration organised a discussion at the conference room of the deputy commissioner office.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Ashfaqul Haq Choudhury presided over the discussion while Civil Surgeon Dr. Sajeda Begum,deputy director (DD) of Local Government department at DC office Julia Sukaina,Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Md. Fakhrul Hasan,Additional District Magistrate Md. Zubair Hossain Chowdhury, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Sadar upazila Selim Ahmed, Jail Super Md. Mujibur Rahman,district fisheries officer HM Badruzzaman,Ansar-VDP district adjutant Bikash Chandra Das,Shekhati Union Parishad’s secretary Md Arab Ali among were spoke in the discussion.
Speakers said, to establish good governance and speed up the development of the country, the government employees should fulfill their responsibilities more sincerely. The government services should be delivered to the doorsteps of the people. We will work selflessly from each position to develop the country. In the smart era, the service should also be smart and advanced.
