National Fisheries Week 2020 is being celebrated in Natore with the slogan "Increase fish production, build a happy and prosperous country". On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shahriaz inaugurated the Fisheries Week by releasing fish fry in a pond in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office on Wednesday morning.
Superintendent of Police Liton Kumar Saha, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ashraful Islam, District Fisheries Officer Jahangir Alam, District Civil Surgeon Dr. Kazi Mizanur Rahman, District Awami League Joint Secretary Syed Mortuza Ali Bablu, Upazila Fisheries Officer Nazim Uddin and other government and non-government officials at different levels were present during the occasion. Later, a brief meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner's office.
