Mohammad Abdul Hannan, office assistant of Bogra Palli Bidyut Samiti Bogra-1 was killed in a terrorist attack during an illegal disconnection operation at 11 pm on Friday in Bhaiyer Pukur Bazar area of Shibganj upazila under Bogra Palli Bidyut Samiti-1. Police immediately arrested five people in connection with the Bogra incident. The operation to catch the rest continues.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has expressed deep grief over the death of Md Abdul Hannan, office assistant of Palli Bidyut Samiti Bogra-1. In his condolence message, he prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
At the time, the Minister of State for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources sought the cooperation of the esteemed gas and electricity customers in the message and said that the campaign to collect arrears and disconnect illegal connections has been intensified. Strict legal action will be taken against anyone who obstructs the collection of arrears or disconnection of illegal connections.
