Talented student Raisa Islam of Lohagara upazila in Narail has got Primary Education Medal 2023 and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has handed over the medal and certificate to her.
Raisa Islam, daughter of Md Golam Rasul and Monira Khanam, residents of Khalisakhali village under Lohagara Municipality in Narail, was a fifth-grade student of 68 No. Jogiya Government Primary School. She is now a class-six student of Laxmipasha Adarsh School.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Primary Education Medal 2023 and inaugurated the National Primary Education Week 2024 at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka on June 27, 2024 organised by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. Raisa Islam won the first position at the national level in subject-based quiz Bengali (girls) category. Attending the event, Raisa Islam received the education medal and certificate from the Prime Minister. Panel Mayor of Lohagara Municipality Razia Sultana Beauty said that people from all walks of life of Lohagara expressed joy at the success of talented student Raisa Islam. The parents of the proud student are behind this success.
