According to RAB, a team of RAB-4 arrested Abdul Latif Khan, Kajim Uddin's nephew, from Ashulia area on Thursday night.

RAB said, Abdul Latif, son of the elder brother of the deceased Kajim Uddin, had a long time land dispute with his uncle.

This murder was a result of accumulated anger from these disputes.

Khandaker Al-Moin stated that investigations did not reveal any political or electoral motives behind the incident; rather, it was a consequence of family fued. CCTV footage was examined, and law enforcement agencies conducted the investigation meticulously.  A few days later, Latif confessed to the murder, attributing it to family conflict. Out of anger, Latif strangled Kajim Uddin with a piece of cloth at their residence. The investigation is ongoing to determine if anyone else in the family was involved in the murder. On Wednesday morning, police recovered Kajim Uddin's body from his house in Dendabar area with marks of strangulation.
