Newly appointed Chairman of Chattogram Development Authority (CDA) Freedom Fighter Mohammad Yunus said, "My main goal is to make Chattogram a liveable and world-class planned city. So, coordinated efforts of all the concerned organizations including the City Corporation is necessary’.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina appointed me not as the Chairman of Chattogram Development Authority, but assigned me to work for the welfare of people. I accepted the responsibility as worship”.
He said this while briefing journalists at the VIP Lounge of Chattogram Press Club on Tuesday afternoon. Chattogram Press Club President Salahuddin Md Raza presided over the event while Press Club General Secretary Debdulal Bhowmik delivered the welcome speech. At the beginning of the programme, Chattogram Press Club presented him a memento of the club and greeted him with flower.
