Tanvir Ahmed Roman Bhuiyan, a young businessman, was selected as the ‘best income taxpayer’ in Dhaka district.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal handed over the ‘Tax Payer Award’ to Tanvir in the district at a function at Hotel Radisson on Thursday.
Tanvir has a lot of business including distribution of Telecom Company, Housing, Brick Field in several areas of Ashuia in Savar, outskirts of the capital. He started his journey with only three lakh of money from his mother in 2007. Now this time, he is the top tax payer in the district.
Talking to the Bangladesh Post, Roman Bhuiyan said, ‘I have been paying Income Tax since starting my business. I always try to pay Tax correctly.’
He also said, ‘Not only I pay Tax, but also I have established a mosque with my earned money as well as take part in social activities. I want to continue my job until my death.’
