Mustaq Ahmed, Pakistan’s former star spinner joined the Bangladesh team as the Tigers’ spin bowler coach ahead of South Africa Test series.
The two-match Test series against South Africa set to begin at the Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium from tomorrow.
Mushtaq, who was with the Bangladesh team during their tour of Pakistan in August and was not with the team in India tour due to some prior commitments elsewhere, is going to start his second stint with the Tigers.
Mushtaq joined the team's training session on Saturday at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.
Mustaq returned to Dhaka before the Tests against the Proteas after completing his commtments with a county side in England. This year he is available and has no any prior commitments with any other teams. Now it is expeted that Mustaq will continue here and will work series by series with Bangladesh team, accordin to an information of the Bangladeesh Cricket Board (BCB)
The BCB had earlier hinted that they want to sign Mustaq for a long-term contract.
