A case was filed against 156 people, including S Alam Group Chairman Mohammad Saiful Alam, his two sons Ahsanul Alam and Ashraful Alam as well as former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, in connection with the murder of garment worker Md Rubel in Dhaka during the recent student movement.
Rafiqul Islam, father of the victim, filed the case with Adabor Police Station on Thursday, the police station's Inspector (Investigation) Mintu Chandra Banik said.
About 500 more people
have been kept unnamed in the case.
According to the case
documents, Rubel was shot by the direct and indirect order of the accused when he took part in a procession at the Ring Road area of Adabor on 5 August.
Rubel was rushed to the hospital with bullets in his chest and stomach, where he died on August 7.
