Sarder Mujibur Rahman and Muhammad Kabir Hossain have been promoted to the position of General Manager of largest state-owned Sonali Bank Limited.
Prior to their new appointment, both of them served as General Manager (in charge) of bank’s head office.
Sarder Mujibur Rahman joined Sonali Bank Limited as senior officer in 1988 after completing masters in Zoology (Fisheries) from University of Dhaka.
He served as head of different division of bank’s Head Office and branches in his long banking career.

He attended different workshops and seminars on different banking issues in home and abroad. He is a Diplomaed associate of Institute of Bankers Bangladesh.
Mohammad Kabir Hossain joined the bank as probationary officer in 1986 after competing his honors and masters on Public Administration from university of Chittagong.
He performed as head of different divisions of head office and managers of the different branches of bank in his banking career.
