The biopic of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has started a long time ago with huge budget and organisation under the direction of a renowned Bollywood producer Shyam Benegal. Finally, the Bangladesh-India joint venture film releases its first official poster on the occasion of Bangabandhu's 102nd birth anniversary Thursday March 17 with the new titled ‘Mujib: Ekti Jatir Rupkotha’ (Mujib: The Making of a Nation).
On Thursday afternoon the poster was unveiled its first official poster at a ceremony at FDC with new titled ‘Mujib: Ekti Jatir Rupkotha’ (Mujib: The Making of a Nation). National award winning actor Arifin Shuvoo who played the role of Bangabandhu the lead character of the film, MD of FDC and many others were present there.
Apart from Arifin Shuvoo the film also features Nusraat Faria Mazhar who will play the role of Bangabandhu's daughter and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina. Nusrat Imroz Tisha as Fazilatun Nesa Mujib, eminent actress Dilara Jaman will play the role of Bangbandhu's mother Sahera Khatun, actor Khairul Alam Sabuj will act as Bangabandhu's father Sheikh Lutfor Rahman, Shahidul Alam Sachchu as Sher-e-Bangla AK Fazlul Huq, Ferdous Ahmed as Tajuddin Ahmed, Tauquir Ahmed as Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy, Tushar Khan as Tofazzal Hossain Manik Miah, Fazlur Rahman Babu as Khandakar Moshtaq Ahmed and Misha Sawdagor as Aiyub Khan, among others..
