Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) arranged a discussion and Doa Mahfil on its campus in Dhaka on Tuesday to mark the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Prof Dr. Abu Yousuf Md. Abdullah, Chairman of NUB Trust, was present at the event as the chief guest.
Prof Dr Anwar Hossain, Vice-Chancellor of NUB, presided over the programme while Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university Prof Dr Engr Md Humaun Kabir attended the function as special guest.
Prof Dr Anwarul Karim, Executive Director of Banghabandhu Research Centre, and former senior secretary and advisor to NUB Dr Md. Shamsul Arefin were present on the occasion, among others.
The programme was conducted by Prof Dr Kazi Shahadat Kabir, Registrar of the university. Deans of different faculties, teachers, officers and invited guests were present at the programme.
